Five Finger Death Punch fans are going to have to wait a tad bit longer for the band’s forthcoming album, as the release date has been pushed back one week.

The new album, ‘The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1’ was originally set to drop on July 23, but will now be unleashed on July 30. ‘Volume 2′ of the double-album release will arrive in the fall.

Five Finger Death Punch recently unleashed ‘Lift Me Up’ as the lead single from the ‘Volume 1.’ The track includes guest vocals from metal legend Rob Halford of Judas Priest. In a recent interview with Full Metal Jackie, Halford shared his thoughts about the band by saying, “We just bonded right away and they just have their hearts in the right place, I love them for that and I love them for the fact that they believe in themselves a thousand percent and not letting anybody get in their way.”

Halford also joined the band onstage to perform the single at this year’s Golden Gods awards. While on the black carpet, we caught up with guitarist Zoltan Bathory who spoke about the mindset of the band and abundance of new material. “It was a situation where we had so much material and we were so happy with what we recorded. It’s like what are you going to leave off of the record?”

There is a deluxe edition of ‘The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1′ that boasts a bonus 15 track live CD, ‘Purgatory (Tales From the Pit)’ which is available for pre-order on June 18, this release will be accompanied by a redeemable limited edition t-shirt.

For the Death Punch die-hards, there is also l collectible limited edition box set which features a 5FDP lunch box, the deluxe version of the album with the bonus live CD, an early free download of an exclusive new track.

Fans will be able to rock out in their new Five Finger Death Punch shirt with their new lunchbox as the group is gearing up for their co-headlining run on this year’s Mayhem Festival. For a full list of dates, go here.
