Flint Doesn’t Make Best Public High Schools in America List

Not one school from Genesee County made a new list of the best public high schools in America. Furthermore, not one of them even made the list for best in Michigan.

There was one Michigan school that ranked third on the list -- based on the factors listed here -- and that was the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills. Aside from that, Michigan was shut out of the list's top 100. However, they do have the best public high schools ranked by state as well... and no Flint-area schools made that one either.

No school from Flint was in the top 100 for Michigan (see that list by clicking here). No school from Genesee County was in the top 100 for Michigan. When you break the rankings down even further into metro area, there are a few schools on the outskirts of Genesee County that rank in the top 100 Best High Schools in the Detroit Metro area (a separate list available on Niche.com).
