Don't drink the water, don't go out alone at night, don't leave your doors unlocked, don't open a business. Basically, these lists want you to believe you can't even be a person in Flint or Detroit.

So Flint and Detroit, along with Michigan as a whole, have ranked poorly on yet another "Worst Places in the US for ________" list. This time the blank is filled with "Identity Theft."

Michigan ranked 7th most vulnerable state when it comes to identity theft on the new list from NerdWallet.com Only Florida, Washington, District of Columbia (technically not a state, but it's not our list), Oregon, Missouri, and Georgia. There were really only two problem areas in Michigan mentioned in the results, guess which ones...

That's right! Flint and Detroit are back at it again. They've both been listed together among many of these city-shaming lists, like the recent poorest cities list, the fastest shrinking cities in the US, and now we're presented with this honor. Detroit ranked as the 10th worst city for getting your identity jacked, while Flint landed at 31st. At least we're not #1 this time.

Miami ranked at #1, but just about every metro area in Florida made the list. All those old folks who are out-of-touch with technology down there must make it a con man's paradise.
