Jim Baade our Creative Services Director for Banana 101.5, wrote, directed and produced a documentary film that will be featured this weekend at the Flint Film Festival. The documentary, 'Flint's Best Rock' has already been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

It is hard to believe now, but back in the day WWCK 105.5 was Flint's rock station. 'Flint's Best Rock' tells the story of the rise and fall of the radio giant with interviews, classic footage and stories from the players themselves. Baade had no idea his film would be featured until people here at the station told him, Jim said:

'I had forgot I had entered "Best Rock" in the Flint Film Festival, until this morning when people at work are telling me my movie is on ABC 12 NEWS.'

Jim is already thinking about his next movie, and yes it just might be another Flint related film. It is funny that I am now singing his praises, when according to Jim, I was a bitch to him when he started here. Well, now that he is famous, we are best friends! All kidding aside, I could not be happier or prouder! Congrats Jim, well done!
