If you are a person who loves to garden and has a green thumb Edible Flint needs some help from you.

On the corner of Fifth and Begole Street in Flint, you can find a pretty unique thing. A community demonstration garden that is done by individual residents, public and private organizations and institutions.

Edible Flint has been doing demonstration gardens in Flint since 2009 and is looking for some help to finish off the season and get ready for winter. This Saturday from 10 A.M to 1 P.M they are hosting a fall garden clean up at the Fifth and Begole location. This is a great community event along with a chance to see what Edible Flint is all about and how you also can help out the cause.

Tools will also be provided on Saturday for the event. For more information give them a call at (810) 244-8530 or email Edible Flint at info@edibleflint.org. Check out their website EdibleFlint.org
