The Flint Journal and at least one other Mlive-owned paper used a picture of lronsnake dressed as KISS instead of the actual band when promoting their upcoming Grand Rapids show.

This is why we love it when actual journalists try to dive into our realm. If I had a nickel for every time a professional newsperson was noticeably out of their element when discussing rock music -- I'd have a s***load of nickels.

A prime example of the aforementioned "fish out of water" journalism showed up in The Flint Journal, Bay City Times, and probably several other Mlive publications. The papers were promoting an upcoming KISS show at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, and instead of using a picture of them -- they used a picture of our good buds Ironsnake in full KISS makeup at The Machine Shop.

Let's just say that everyone around here knows "The Greatest 80s Party Band in the Universe Ever" when they see it -- and I'm not talking about KISS. If you want to see Ironsnake in real life you can go see them at The Machine Shop on April 30th for the 3rd Annual 80s Prom. Ironsnake Rules!
