It's been almost 25 years since Andre Rison dominated the world of college football for the Spartans, and now he's trying to bring some of that magic to the current MSU football team.  Rison will join head coach Mark Dantonio and his staff as a wide receivers coach.  Rison will be leaving his position as head coach at Flint Northwestern, and is confident in the difference he can make with the Spartans young receiving core.  Rison was quoted,

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for me and I know I'll be able to help Michigan State's receivers better their game

The Spartans are going into the season with high expectations, and an extremely tough Big Ten.  MSU will need production from their receivers, considering they will be starting a young quarterback, and hopefully Rison will provide the leadership the Spartans will need throughout the season.

Rison will also be returning to the classroom this fall, as he plans on finishing his degree.  Rison left Michigan State with out graduating, and has long promised himself and his family that he would eventually finish what he had started.
