Flint Police Investigating After Officer’s Gun Accidentally Fires At School Function [VIDEO]

Luckily no one was hurt after a Flint Police officer's gun accidentally fired at a high school wrestling event on Saturday, May 5th. 

Reports indicate the off-duty officer was in the Fowlerville High School gym when the gun accidentally fired. I know some of you may be asking how does a gun accidentally fire? I don't have the answer but I am quite confident it was indeed an accident. The unidentified officer has been placed on leave and an investigation is underway.

No one was injured other than a person who twisted an ankle trying to get out of the gym. The officer involved is reportedly fully cooperating.
