Over the weekend, a charity basketball game treated fans to a game with local officials facing off against each other. The Flint Fire Department took on the Flint Police Department to raise money for local charities.

Charities games have created a long time rivalry between the Flint Fire Department and the Flint Police Department. These brave local heroes are not afraid to come together and battle each other in any sport to raise money. From hockey to basketball, they have done it all.

On Saturday they squared off once again to raise money for the Flint PAL and CMB Basketball programs. The game took place at Flint Job Corps and presented by Metro PCS and CMB Basketball.

This time around, the Flint Fire Department was able to pull off the win against the Flint Police Department. The score ended up being 55 to 49 at the end of the game. Nice work firefighters!
