Four area bands battle it out for a week of airplay in the Flint Town Throwdown. This week's bands are Palavere, Fifth Way, After the Minor and Seven Year Riot — listen to the tracks and vote for your favorite now.   • Palavere

    Palavere aims to create market appropriate material by using a more holistic approach to writing and performing music. By incorporating elements from an extensive variety of genres; with interests and influences ranging throughout history, as well as throughout the globe, a mature, yet still culturally relevant sound has emerged which seeks to identify with its' audiences both musically and lyrically in very practical ways.

    Fifth Way aims to instill in their listeners a life expressed through rock: the dominant form of music. With diverse backgrounds, Fifth Way is bringing their rock and roll spectacle to all the stages that can handle it. Front man Tim Gossman’s powerful vocal styling’s are accompanied by the twin guitar attack of lead players Zak Stemlaszek and cohort Adam Trahan. Anthony Palsgrove, the man in charge of the low end, hollers at your with his precision and timeliness. Chris Castro, the clock man, hits hard, hits often and maintains a tight ship.

    After the Minor is a 5 piece metal band all hailing from FLINT MI.. Dan Rodgers (Drums), Nic Ward (Vocals and Keys), Josh Paris (Bass guitar and Back up vocals), Mike Caudle (Rhythm Guitar) and our newest member, Alex Ricketts (Lead Guitar: formally from Silent Divide). The line up of ATM has changed a few times since Dan and Wardy (nic) started the band a few years ago. Managed by, Melissa Mays from Indi-grace Promotions. You can catch us at the Machine shop performing or just hanging out for a good show! we support LOCAL METAL!!
