Four area bands battle it out for a week of airplay in the Flint Town Throwdown. This week’s bands are After the Tide, Ana, Mercy Beach and Pussyfoot — listen to the tracks and vote for your favorite now. After the Tide
After the Tide is a rock/alternative band from Detroit, MI. In a years span, *After The Tide* has taken on the Detroit music scene by force and continues to be on the minds and lips of fans friends and strangers alike. Coming from all different musical backgrounds, the formation of this band was under simple yet unique circumstances. Their ever growing fan base is what drives the band and keeps them moving along. Stay tuned for a debut EP in the summer of 2013 along with a small Midwest tour.

Mercy Beach: the name conjures visions of pristine white sand and scantily-clad lasses. Soon however, the name will conjure a new association—the all original, Michigan rock band making waves everywhere they’re seen and heard. The group had been playing the Mid-West circuit for several years as The Round, before reinventing themselves as Mercy Beach in 2010. The re-imaging brought renewed focus, and their notoriety is growing with each performance. They are quickly making it known that they are a band to keep your ears to the ground for.
