Four area bands battle it out for a week of airplay in the Flint Town Throwdown. This week’s bands are After the Tide, Dryvel, Last Summer and Shudder — listen to the tracks and vote for your favorite now. Don’t forget to tune in Monday nights at 10p to hear all this week’s bands as well as the winner from the previous week. If you have a band and want to be in the Throwdown, link to the submission form at the bottom of the page or simply email your radio-edited (Seriously, that means NO EFFING F-Bombs!) track to tree@banana1015.com with the subject line “Flint Town Throwdown.”

After the Tide is a rock/alternative band from Detroit, MI. In a years span, *After The Tide* has taken on the Detroit music scene by force and continues to be on the minds and lips of fans friends and strangers alike. Coming from all different musical backgrounds, the formation of this band was under simple yet unique circumstances. Their ever growing fan base is what drives the band and keeps them moving along. Stay tuned for a debut EP in the summer of 2013 along with a small Midwest tour.

From the ashes of the band Kerosene, comes a new hard hitter in the Detroit music scene: Shudder. What started as a four piece in 2001 has evolved into a 5 piece machine with little chance of slowing down
