Flushing Woman Shot By Boyfriend

While most of us were sleeping, a 25-year-old Flushing woman was shot in the leg by her boyfriend. The incident happened at roughly 3:30am this morning. Police say the two had been drinking and arguing.

No names have been released but we do know the 28-year-old shooter is a correctional deputy and a six year veteran of the Genesee County Sheriff's Office. The incident is being investigated by the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office.
