Foo Fighters And Pearl Jam To Channel Pink Floyd For Fallon This Week
Jimmy Fallon has previously honored Bob Marley and The Rolling Stones with their own week of songs covered by other artists, now it's Pink Floyd's turn. The week-long celebration kicks off tonight with The Shins, who are making their first television performance in four years, covering 'Breathe' from the classic mega-hit album 'Dark Side of the Moon'.
The Foo Fighters have something really special planned for their 'Late Night' appearance on Tuesday, the band will perform 'In the Flesh' from 'The Wall' with Roger Waters himself. For Wednesday indie-pop group MGMT will perform 'Lucifer Sam', while Thursday will bring a country-fied version of 'Wish You Were Here' compliments of Dierks Bentley. Floyd week on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' will close with Pearl Jam, who recently debuted their new song 'Olé' on the program, covering 'The Wall' classic -- 'Mother'.
'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' airs weekdays at 12:35ET on NBC.
