Nine Inch Nails bid farewell to touring on their 2009 'Wave Goodbye' tour, of which their show at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles served as the final performance. Now thanks to the devoted NIN fanbase, we can see the supposed final show.

Many were upset when Trent Reznor announced the band's retirement from touring in 2009. Their September, 10th, 2009 show at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles may have been the last chance anyone had to see NIN perform live. Luckily one dedicated fan from Germany tasked himself with cutting together all of the online footage of the show to make a multi-angle super bootleg which is now available on PirateBay.

"I couldn’t witness this last show. So in return, working on [this project] was something special for me. Maybe you will also catch fire for this show, as I did, over the course of the editing process," the fan explained on the NIN website [via Antiquiet]. "Nine Inch Nails and all the others made this an amazing final concert! Hopefully it’s not the last time these great musicians and performers are – together – on stage!”

Whether or not Nine Inch Nails will ever tour again is unknown, Trent Reznor is, however, working on new material for the band with hopes of recording at some point in 2012. He has spent much of his time away from the band scoring films like 'The Social Network' and 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' and working with his wife in the new band 'How to Destroy Angels,' who have an album coming in 2012.
