Things are starting to warm up which means we're getting closer and closer to the summer concert season at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights.

The Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre is very similar to Pine Knob as it has a covered pavilion and lawn section for concertgoers. The amphitheatre can hold just over 7,000 people. That's roughly half of what Pine Knob can accommodate.

When is the First Show of the Summer at Freedom Hill?

Freedom Hill's summer concert season will kick off on Wednesday, May 29th with "The Cave World Tour" featuring NEEDTOBREATHE and special guest, Judah & The Lion.

Between the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre and Pine Knob, there are over 65 concerts listed on the 313 Presents website with more shows to be announced in the coming weeks. That's not even counting Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, and the other venues affiliated with 313 Presents.

The Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill is located at 14900 Metro Parkway. It's just 3 ½ miles east of Van Dyke (M-53) in Sterling Heights. Metro Parkway is also known as 16 Mile or Big Beaver Rd.
