Girl Expelled for Science Project Gone Wong [Video]

Here's another story for the "only in Florida' file. A 16-year-old student was arrested and the expelled for making and detonation of a "Works bomb" on school grounds. Kiera Wilmot will also be tried as an adult for her crime that's being described as "A science experiment gone wrong" Watch the video clip. And decide for yourself if you think the punishment is too harsh. Or if her track record should provide some leeway with school policy. One of the thoughts I had was, If this is an experiment she felt she absolutely HAD to do, why would you do this on school grounds? Why not in a park or open field?
