A Christmas Story…The Musical?

So I found an article today and I have to say I don't think this is in anyway a good idea!  Turning a classic into a musical...WTF?

There are two types of people during the holiday season...those who love "A Christmas Story" and those who hate it!  Being one that loves it, I look forward to the annual "24 Hours of A Christmas Story."  "You'll shoot you're eye out!" "I triple dog dare you!" "The F dash dash dash word" and of course the coveted Red Rider BB Gun...

Unless Will Ferrell or Jason Alexander are the stars of the musical, there is no way in hell I would go see it!  Would you?
