Last week Genesee County resident Zachary Parker was sentenced to 5 years in prison. Parker was drunk and driving the wrong way when his vehicle struck and killed Mariah Bailey-Collins. Now the store that sold him the alcohol he was drinking the night of the crash is subject to additional fines.

The unidentified employee of Food Plus Party Store in Grand Blanc Township has already been charged $625 for selling the alcohol. However, the case has now been turned over to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. The clerk and the store could face additional fines.
