This year at the Summer Olympics another athlete from Genesee County will join Claressa Shields in representing America in the games.  Grand Blanc native, Michigan Wolverine and really fast runner Geena Gall will be headed to London to participate in Olympics.

Gall finished in second place in the women's 800 meter event at the U.S. Track and Field Olympic trails on Monday night.  She ran the 800 meter dash in under two minutes, which is ridiculously fast. Gall won the race in dramatic fashion as well, making a big push from behind at the home stretch, having fallen back as far as 5th.
