Grohl & Novoselic Collaborate

Foo Fighters

The buzz around the upcoming Foo Fighters album is it will be their heaviest yet, which is pretty exciting in my opinion.

Adding sparks to the buzz is Dave Grohl inviting Krist Novoselic to play on a track.  In case you have been in a coma, Grohl and Novoselic were both in Nirvana.

Grohl tells “Q” magazine that he and Krist have, quote:

“Always been in touch.  One of the things about the expanded Nirvana family, it doesn’t matter how much time has passed, when you see each other you’re immediately connected by that, by the good and bad things”.

Krist Novoselic is featured on a song called “I Should Have Known”.  According to Dave Grohl it is the darkest song on the album.

The new CD is expected to be in stores in the spring of 2011.  Awesome!
