Flint, Michigan is very lucky to have a kick ass rock venue like The Machine Shop right in our backyard. Not many realize this, but most bands love The Shop as much as we do -- especially Halestorm. They love playing Flint town so much, they shot their entire music video for 'I Miss the Misery' here.

Halestorm's video for the new single features many recognizable Flint landmarks, most notably The Machine Shop. The footage of their performance was shot during a very special sold out concert on May 18th, the day before their set at Rock on the Range. We actually caught up with frontwoman Lzzy Hale at ROTR, where she couldn't say enough about how much the band loves our city -- a refreshing take after hearing so many negative things about Flint in the media.

Halestorm is getting ready to hit the road as part of the Carnival of Madness with Evanescence, Chevelle, Cavo and New Medicine, which comes to DTE Energy Music Theatre on August 24th. 'I Miss the Misery' is taken from the band's sophomore album 'The Strange Case of...' and is available at digital retailers and in stores now.
