Happy's Pizza on Bristol Road in Burton is under new management and is having a grand reopening celebration. Next Monday, the store will be joined by the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new owner, Wally Yasso, has also decided to turn this celebration into an event to help those in need. Instead of giving away free pizza, they will be preparing and serving dinner to those in need at My Brother's Keeper homeless shelter for men.

Yasso, a Michigan native, also owns stores in Toledo and Dayton, Ohio. His charitable efforts continue at those locations where he has donated meals to local shelters during the holidays, given free pizza to hospital staff and also the American Red Cross for blood drives.

For those of you wanting to join the celebration, the ribbon cutting ceremony will be on Monday, October 30th at 4 pm. Happy's Pizza is located at 1376 East Bristol Road in Burton.
