Historic Schoolhouse Finds New Home, Thanks to Clio Man [VIDEO]

The Hicks Schoolhouse was set to be demolished in Pinckney. But Clio native Tim Bennett couldn't stand to see that happen so he came up with a plan and that plan was to have the schoolhouse moved to his property in Brighton.

The schoolhouse which was built in 1849 had to travel more than 20 miles to its new home earlier this week. It really had to be a sight to see in Livingston County as this piece of history traveled down the road.
