Imlay City Police Looking For Man Involved In Fatal Hit-and-Run

Police are on the lookout for a man involved in a fatal hit-and-run this morning in Imlay City. Although Imlay City Police are asking the public for help - do not approach this man. This is not his first brush with the law and he is considered to be dangerous.

Reports indicate this morning at roughly 10:00 a.m. Alexander Waschull struck and killed a motorcyclist on M-53 (Van Dyke Road), north of Newark Road in Imlay City. Waschull was driving a silver Jeep, but he took off on foot.

Guns were found in the Jeep and Waschull has been in trouble before for OWI, disorderly conduct, weapons charges, and domestic violence. Again, DO NOT APPROACH if you see him. Call 911. Let's hope he caught soon.

The name of the motorcyclist has not yet been released, our thoughts and prayers are certainly with the family.
