Jani Lane Ex-Warrant Singer Found Dead in Hotel
According to TMZ – Jani Lane, Ex-Warrant lead singer — was found dead earlier Thursday evening. Lane has had a drinking problem in the past and was found guilty of a DUI and sentenced to 120 days in jail in 2010. Lane was 47-years-old.
Jani Lane was found at a Days Inn Hotel in Woodland Hills, California — so far there is no official cause of death.
Lane penned Warrant’s hit, “Cherry Pie” before leaving the band to pursue a solo career.
