JBJ Appointed To White House Council

Jon Bon Jovi for President?  Well that may be stretching it.

The singer has just been appointed to the White House Council Of Community Solutions by President Barack Obama.

JBJ will advise Obama on maintaining the perfect hair style and groupies.  Kidding!  This council guides the President on ways that government, businesses and non profit agencies can work together on community issues.

This is actually not out of the norm for Jon Bon Jovi.  His Soul Foundation has been involved in numerous charities and has provided affordable housing to low income individuals.  The foundation believes in supporting community efforts to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.  Pretty awesome!

This news has to make the blow of not getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year a little easier.

Bon Jovi has made a serious effort over the years break out of the "80's hair band" label.  Yeah, this should help.  I don't think he will be running into the likes of  Winger or Cinderella in the oval office.
