Ever since Killswitch Engage parted ways with vocalist Howard Jones, it has been speculated that Jesse Leach may return to the vacant spot behind the mic. The singer has yet to say whether or not it's a possibility and recently said he's enjoying keeping fans in the dark.

Jesse Leach may have perpetuated some rumors of his return with a series of vague tweets in the wake of Jones' departure but don't expect him to blow the lid off of any big news anytime soon. Leach recently told Loud that he's having a bit of fun at our expense:

"I’m not going to comment. I’d rather those guys go through what they’ve got to go through. They’re good friends of mine, so I’m respecting their space at the moment. It’s more fun, more mystery, too – you don’t have to know everything. These days everybody is on Facebook and tweeting everything that happens. What happened to the mystery of music and not knowing everything?"

Though he wouldn't comment on whether he's been offered the gig or not, Leach did say that he is still proud of the work he did with the band, especially their final collaborative effort 'Alive or Just Breathing':

"It’s one of those records that doesn’t leave me. I fought against it for a while after leaving – I wanted to turn over a new leaf. It was the right record at the right place at the right time. It’s a career-defining album for me. If I had a resume as a musician, it would be the highlight.”

In the meantime, Killswitch is accepting demos for new singers and Leach will re-team with KSE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz for some Australian tour dates with their side-band Times of Grace next month.
