Josh Todd & the Conflict are digging a little deeper into their debut album, Year of the Tiger, giving viewers a crime-thriller with their new video for "Rain."

The Billy Jayne-directed clip features members of the band in supporting roles, but most of the action centers on a supposed DEA raid on a gang that goes south. "Rain" is the perfect song to soundtrack the visual, with its dark and bluesy vibe letting the listener know that the "rain" is coming. The clip itself was shot in downtown Los Angeles, giving it a grittier feel.

The stomp-clap percussive open is infinitely catchy, leading into a bluesy rocker that intensifies as the song progresses. "Rain" also shows off a little more variety for the band's debut disc than what we've heard so far. Audiences have already been treated to the title track from the Year of the Tiger album as well the aggressive rocker "F--ked Up."

While Todd insists that Buckcherry are still in a great place, Josh Todd & the Conflict allows for more new music in a broader scope for the musician. The band's Year of the Tiger album is due Sept. 15. You can pre-order the disc here.
