Kanye West once again reminded us that he's a loudmouth a-hole by implying that Beck isn't a "real artist" and that he should've given his Album of the Year Grammy to Beyonce in a post-Grammy Awards interview.

So apparently Kanye wasn't making fun of his 2009 VMA "Imma Let You Finish" outburst when he briefly rushed the stage as Beck received the Best Album Grammy for 'Morning Phase' last night (2/8/15). His post-show interview makes it abundantly clear that he was serious, but didn't have the balls to interrupt the show to speak his mind this time.

"I got my wife, my daughter and my clothing line, so I'm not going to do nothing to put my daughter at risk but I am here to fight for creativity. That's the reason why I didn't say anything tonight. But you all know what it meant when 'Ye walks on the stage."

You might be wondering what he would have said. No worries, he mentioned that too. Not surprisingly, he was pissed about Beyonce not winning again. What was surprising was the s---y, disrespectful way that he put it out there... actually -- It's Kanye. That's not surprising at all.

"I don't know what [Beck] said, all I know is if the Grammys want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We ain't gonna play with them no more. 'Flawless,' Beyoncé video. Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé, and at this point, we tired of it. Because what happens is, when you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you're disrespectful to inspiration and we as musicians have to inspire people who go to work every day and they listen to that Beyoncé album and they feel like it takes them to another place."

So let me get this straight -- Beyonce and Kanye are "real artists," but Beck isn't? And maybe this is just me, but is he implying that Beck isn't a musician either? Beck is both a real artist and a real musician, I wouldn't say the latter was true about either Bey or Ye. When a real musician gets an idea for a song, they don't need to call up Timbaland to make them a beat or Paul McCartney to play guitar. A real musician picks up a guitar (or their instrument of choice) and writes that song. If Kanye can't respect someone that does that as well as Beck does, I don't know how anyone can respect his opinion.

Maybe he doesn't like Beck's album 'Morning Phase." That's okay, but it was one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the year. It makes sense that it won. If hearing Beyonce rhyme the word "up" with itself 21 times in a row on her uber-repetitive track '7 /11' transports Kanye to "another place" -- Fantastic! Go there and stay there and leave real musicians out of it. Just because you got Paul McCartney to play guitar for you -- on a song which sucks, by the way -- that doesn't make you the authority on real artistry.
