It's taken some time to get there, but it looks like we'll be getting a new album from Slayer in 2015.

During a recent appearance at the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, guitarist Kerry King revealed [as transcribed by Blabbermouth], "We just pretty much got done recording. We're gonna go in for, like, ten days at the end of this run … and record some more stuff. We've got enough for a record now. We're just gonna go in and record some more, 'cause we have time. And that should be out early next year."

Slayer have teased fans in recent months with photos from the studio, but it looks like their days at Henson Recording Studio are winding down. The band has been working closely with producer Terry Date on the disc and earlier this year they unleashed the new song 'Implode' at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards, wetting the appetites of their fans.

The veteran metallers will have a new sound on their next album with drummer Paul Bostaph, who returned to the band to replace Dave Lombardo. Meanwhile, Exodus' Gary Holt, who took a spot left empty by the late Jeff Hanneman, is making his first appearance on a Slayer record.

The band's own Tom Araya and Kerry King were in Las Vegas for SEMA to show off their new Scion x Slayer Mobile Amp tC. During the appearance, King plugged his guitar into the car's custom system and rocked out some killer riffs, as seen in the video below.
