Kid Rock Offers Reward, Catches Man Who Attempted Break-In at His Clarkston Home

Kid Rock posted security images of a man who attempted to break-in to his Clarkston home on Wednesday (7/31), offering a reward for information on the attempted B&E and some words of warning to other would-be burglars. Apparently, his reward worked -- get the unusual story here.

Kid Rock posted the images of the man -- who was on crutches? -- attempting to break into his Clarkston home to the official Kid Rock website   under the heading "Don't Mess with a Motherf***er Like Me." He then offered a few details about some of his personal hobbies for those would-be burglars who may be unfamiliar with Kid Rock's feelings about guns:

"Thank God I was not on the property at the time of this attempted break in.  I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives.  I take the invasion of my personal space very seriously regardless of who you are and YES, I do profile people. I am currently profiling any balding white male on crutches driving a white creeper van. Please contact the Oakland County Sheriff Tip Line at 1.800.773.2587 with any information on this jackass. I am offering a $5k reward for any information leading to his arrest."

Apparently, Rock's reward worked because, just a day after the initial August 2nd post, there was another titled simply "Suspect Apprehended," which featured no other details. For any other robbers who are thinking of breaking and entering on any of Bob Ritchie's properties -- let us re-state why this a bad idea:

• Kid Rock will shoot you if he's home... and he's probably a pretty good shot. Homeboy goes hunting with the "Nuge."
• Whether it's because of his music of all of his charitable efforts in the state of Michigan -- at least (and we do mean at bare minimum) one of your friends loves Kid Rock. His fans are rather loyal and will rat you out.
• He is the "Bullgod," you understand? The illegitimate son of man.
