Kid Rock certainly does not lack pride in Michigan, and he's proving it once again, as he's written and recorded the anthem for the 2012 Detroit Lions.  The song won't be released until next week and is a part of a project for NFL fans called 'Pepsi Anthems'.

The pop company has had numerous artists recording songs for their hometeams, including Ice Cube for the Raiders, Kelly Clarkson for the Cowboys, and Wiz Khalifa for the Steelers.  The songs are available for download using codes found on Pepsi products at PepsiAnthems.com, where you can see pictures of Kid Rock posing with Matthew Stafford.
