There have been several reports over the years about Korn singer Jonathan Davis' solo album, well the wait is finally over...kind of. While it's not a studio record, Davis is set to release a solo concert titled 'Live At The Union Chapel' on CD and DVD this summer.

I remember hearing Jonathan Davis talk about a solo project prior to the sessions of 'Korn III: Remember Who You Are', and one had been rumored long before that. It's unknown whether those recordings were turned into Korn tracks or if they are buried in the desert with copies of the E.T. video game for Atari 2600. What we do know is that the Korn vocalist is set to release the album 'Live At The Union Chapel' on August 16, 2011.

The 2008 London solo performance will not be the first that Davis has put out; although it only had a limited release, 2007's 'Alone I Play' featured the Korn frontman performing songs from the 'Queen of the Damned' soundtrack and some of his band's songs.

As for Korn they are currently working on turning their postponed digital EP into a full-fledged album for a possible release later this year. The band has been collaborating with dubstep producers for the upcoming effort and their current single 'Get Up' featuring Skrillex is quickly moving up the active rock charts. They will also be composing a theme song for the video game 'Silent Hill: Downpour' which hits stores this winter.
