On March 5, 2013, Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe was ruled "not guilty" for manslaughter charges in the Czech Republic. Since that time, Blythe has been seeking approximately $640,800 in damages from the Justice Ministry for his 37-day imprisonment, but a Prague court has now rejected Randy's claim.

Randy Blythe's ordeal was troublesome to say the least. Soon after his initial arrest in 2012, a video of Randy apparently pushing a fan offstage during a 2010 gig in Prague circulated around the internet. This was the show attended by Daniel Nosek, who allegedly suffered severe head trauma at the gig which led to the young man's death. Luckily for Blythe, the fan caught on tape came forward to prove Daniel was not the man seen in the clip; just one aspect of what led to Blythe's acquittal.

Nevertheless, Randy Blythe spent 37 days in Pankrac Prison while awaiting his bail, which was raised from approximately $200,000 to $400,000 while Randy was behind bars. He was subject to horrid conditions during his stay, and you can read about it in grizzly detail within Randy's book Dark Days.

According to the Associated Press, Randy Blythe lost his battle seeking compensation earlier today (Sept. 30). No further details have currently been made available, but Blythe will be able to appeal the decision.

We recently spoke in-depth with Randy about his Dark Days memoir, so check out the full video interview below.
