A 19 year-old Lansing man was recently arrested after robbing a pizza delivery person at gunpoint and stealing his car.

According to ABC12, the suspect demanded money at gunpoint and then took off with the pizza driver's vehicle.

Police found the vehicle traveling on M-52 near Grand River. As they attempted to pull him over, he jumped out of the car and took off on foot. He was eventually caught after a K-9 unit was called in.

He was arrested for armed robbery and carjacking. He was also tied to another robbery that took place on New Year's Eve.

This is something that doesn't happen very often in Owosso so we're happy to report that Owossonians are safe again.
