On October 27th, LEGO and DC Comics will bring the dark knight back to the small screen (along with the rest of the Justice League) for 'Batman Be-Leaguered.' After Bats stole the show in 'The LEGO Movie,' you can count us in!

Due to my kids' insane love of both LEGO and Batman (and make that double for LEGO Batman), I was interested immediately when Cartoon Network announced this special on their Facebook page... however, there is very little information out there on it right now. After some digging, I found this description over at WorldsFinestOnline.com:

"Batman prides himself on being a loner, a totally self-sufficient one-man-band. Just ask anyone; Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, Alfred… anyone. So, he is understandably irritated when his nightly cleanup of Gotham City villains is interrupted by Superman, who pesters Batman to join his new superhero team, The Justice League. After Batman makes it quite clear to the Man of Steel that his invitation has been declined, Superman flies off disappointed… whereupon he is overcome with a strange energy and vanishes!"

The article there also indicated that this is a one-off special that will serve as a sort of lead-in to the upcoming video game 'LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.' There are no trailers for the US version as of yet, but we did find the following promo for the UK/Ireland version of the show. Hearing Batman with an Irish accent is pretty hilarious... he kind of sounds like Liam Neesons actually.

The 'Merican version premieres on Cartoon Network Monday, October 27th at 6p ET, while its video game counterpart -- 'LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham' -- hits major gaming consoles on November 11th.
