Alt-metal band Life of Agony are playing a rumored final show this weekend after a 20+ year career. The most surprising part of the story is not that it's the band's final show, it's frontman Keith Caputo's first show as a frontwoman.

Life of Agony will play three final shows this weekend in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands respectively. Many fans of the heavy metallers will be in for a surprise when the band takes the stage with a new singer that's a chick...wait a second, that's a dude! Singer Keith Caputo has confirmed to Metalinsider.net that he has undergone gender reassignment surgery and is now going by 'Keith Mina'. He She also made a statement about the rumor that the 'change' fueled LOA's break-up via Twitter:

“LOA has already gone in2 isolation & it’s got nothin 2 do w me transitioning. my boys love me regardless of my life choices!"

For those of you that don't ever use the term "T.M.I", Caputo added some more in response to Metal Insider's handling of the story:

"@metalinsider thx for being sweet & respectful..Deeply appreciate it. FYI, I'm keeping my penis! >_<"
