Linden Teen Accused Of School Shooting Plot Enters Plea Deal

Just last year, things hit just a little too close to home in Linden. Police were alerted to a possible school shooting plot at Linden High School and Linden Middle School. Upon investigating, student Ryan Stevens and two others were said to be targeting other students. 

Sentencing for Stevens is set to begin on September 13th. He was originally charged with conspiracy to commit murder and making a false threat of terrorism. Genesee county prosecutors have agree to drop the more serious charge after he pleaded guilty to the more serious charge of the terrorist threat.
