Linkin Park have just released the first track ‘Burn It Down’ from the band’s highly anticipated new album, ‘Living Things.’ To accompany the brand new track, Linkin Park have also hit fans with a lyric video, which depicts what appears to be a volcanic-looking Chester Bennington.

Fans can expect a poppier yet familiar sound with Linkin Park’s ‘Burn It Down.’ Although the title seems violent and menacing, the band takes a soft approach with ‘Burn It Down’ while keeping its signature Linkin Park hooks. The track also features both Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda on vocal duties.

‘Burn It Down’ is the first track released from Linkin Park’s fifth full-length album, which was just revealed as being titled ‘Living Things.’ The date of release has also been made public — June 26.

Fans can also expect a music video for ‘Burn It Down.’ The band posted a short teaser for the video in late March, with Shinoda announcing the upcoming music video from the mechanical-looking set.

Additionally, Linkin Park have just announced a summer North American tour with fellow melodic hard rockers Incubus. Check out the full list of tour dates here.
