Nirvana fans have been foaming at the mouth ever since it was revealed that Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck would be accompanied by the release of Kurt Cobain demo recordings. The official releases won't be out until November, but you can hear Cobain's demo of "Sappy" right now!

"Sappy" will receive its own release on 7" vinyl on Nov. 20. The single will also feature Kurt Cobain's demo cover of the Beatles classic "And I Love Her."

"Sappy" has become somewhat of a cult hit amongst Nirvana fans, though it was never released on any of Nirvana's full-lengths while the band was still active. However, "Sappy" (aka "Verse Chorus Verse") first appeared on the No Alternative AIDS benefit compilation in 1993 along with deluxe reissues of Nirvana's Nevermind in 2011 and In Utero in 2013. Fans can also find "Sappy" on the With the Lights Out and Sliver box sets.

Along with the upcoming 7", the demo of "Sappy" will be a part of the Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings CD set for release Nov. 13. The LP version will hit shelves Dec. 4. Listen to "Sappy" in the clip above and to pre-order the Home Recordings album, click here.
