Local Family Needs Help To Buy Bigger Van For Twin Boys With Muscular Dystrophy [VIDEO]

When I see something like this, I realize how small my problems are. A Lapeer family is in need of a new van that can accommodate two 12-year-old boys with Muscular Dystrophy.

The Simeneta family has simply outgrown the vehicle they have now, forcing them to miss out on a lot. There is not room for the entire family in their current vehicle and the the twins, Riley and Shay, are using smaller wheel chairs just so they can fit in the van the family has now. There is a Go Fund Me page where people can donate, but unfortunately donations are slowing down. The family is hosting a garage sale at 516 North Wilder Road in Lapeer from now until Sunday to raise addtional funds. The sale will be open from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day.
