Marilyn Manson recently waved goodbye to drummer Chris Vrenna, who left the band to focus on other projects. The band has decided to move forward with veteran rock drummer Jason Sutter as the man behind the kit.

Since Chris Vrenna ended his 7-year union with Marilyn Manson a couple months back we haven't heard much about the band's strategy for moving forward. Blabbermouth recently reported that seasoned touring drummer Jasson Sutter will now serve as the shock-rock groups new stick-man. His first gig with the band will be during Manson's appearance at the Soundwave Festival next month.

Sutter has been playing gigs since the age of 13 and has recently toured with Foreigner, New York Dolls, and Chris Cornell. He has also played with several other acts throughout his career including American Hi-Fi, Pink, Smash Mouth, Vertical Horizon and more.

Despite releasing the Shia Lebeouf-directed short film for the title track from their next album 'Born Villain' months ago, the band has yet to put out the eighth studio record but have a tentative release date for this February.
