Marilyn Manson's last album; 2009's 'The High End of Low' was met with mixed reviews from critics and fans alike, as was its predecessor 2007's 'Eat Me, Drink Me'. Manson is back to take another stab at it with their eighth studio album which marks the first since parting ways with former label Interscope. You can get a first taste of the new material right here.

Bassist Twiggy Ramirez has said of the new material that it is both "more romantic" and "self abusive". He has also described the new album as "suicide death metal" and despite his admission that he knows it is cliche for a band to say; he believes the eighth album is the band's "best work so far".

This outing will be Manson's first without drummer Ginger Fish since 2003's 'The Golden Age of Grotesque', aside from that record Fish had (in some capacity) played on every one since 1995's 'Smells Like Children'. Ginger announced his departure from the band  to fans via Twitter in February and drummer Chris Vrenna (KMFDM, NIN) is handling the kit this time around. Fish is currently touring as the drummer Rob Zombie. Here is the teaser trailer for what could be the first single from the unnamed album. There is no release date set as of yet either but as soon as we know; so will you.
