We recently welcomed Creed / Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti to drop by our studio to talk all things music. In this clip, the musician speaks about his solo band Tremonti's upcoming second album, Cauterize, as well as Wolfgang Van Halen's contributions to the disc and more.

Mark Tremonti dropped some jaws with his guitar playing his solo band's debut album, All I Was, in 2012. Until then, most music fans were familiar Tremonti's heavily melodic style in Creed or Alter Bridge. But after he melted his fretboard on the 2012 disc, he garnered some serious respect from the metal community, which Tremonti speaks about in this exclusive video.

The musician also describes what new dynamics listeners will experience with Cauterize compared to All I Was. Tremonti's second solo album was actually recorded on the same make of board that was housed in the legendary Sound City Studios, so the production standards are far greater for Cauterize.

Cauterize is also the act's first album to feature bassist Wolfgang Van Halen. In this interview, Tremonti speaks about Wolfgang's tremendous musical abilities along with the specific contributions he brought to Cauterize.

Check out our exclusive interview with Mark Tremonti above and keep your eyes out for more clips with Mark coming soon! Tremonti's Cauterize is currently set for a June 9 release, with tour dates listed here.
