Masked Gunman Shoot Man That Had Sentence Commuted By Obama

Damarlon Thomas, a former Sunny Side Gang member, had his sentence commuted by President Obama last year. He has been living in a halfway house in Saginaw on Norman Street. 

Last night, two masked gunman entered the halfway house with assault rifles. One of the men held the other residents at gunpoint and the other shot and killed Thomas.

Thankfully, no one else was hurt in the incident and Michigan State Police are still looking for the shooters.

Thomas' sentence was commuted last year after being indicted in 2007.

Police are still looking for information.
