Mastodon Debut Official Music Video For ‘Dry Bone Valley’

Mastodon.com

Mastodon have already released visual companion pieces for every track on their latest album ‘The Hunter’ but decided to give the official music video treatment to their new single ‘Dry Bone Valley.’

Mastodon again dabble in the psychedelic with their new music video, which blends 1950′s style monster movie effects with animation from renowned artist and friend of the band, Tim Biskup, who also directed the new clip. The prog metal quartet have again managed to produce a visually striking experience without actually appearing in the video, as they previous did for the single ‘Curl of the Burl.’ We can’t help but wonder how awesome this video would be in 3D.
