Mastodon Rocks ‘Black Tongue’ On ‘Later…With Jools Holland’ [VIDEO]

Mastodon made the trip across the pond for a fiery live performance of 'The Hunter' lead off track  'Black Tongue' on the popular British late night show 'Later...with Jools Holland'.

Mastodon's new album 'The Hunter' has received great reviews and more commercial attention than any of it's predecessors. Their latest effort differs greatly from the bulk of their back catalog, in that it is not a concept album, most songs are under 4 minutes in length, and they worked with a producer mostly known for hip hop and pop music -- Mike Elizondo.

The band is gearing up for their North American headlining tour with Dillenger Escape Plan and Red Fang which will run through all of November and wraps December 2. Mastodon also has some UK dates scheduled for February and the band headed to 'Later with Jools Holland' to give the Brits a preview of what's to come.
