A Tuscola County man is behind bars after attempting to connect with what he thought was a 15-year-old girl at a Taco Bell.

Justin Fountain, 41, was on this way to the fast food restaurant with his 2-year-old child also in the car. Fountain thought he was meeting a teen girl he met online. Fountain had actually been communicating with an adult from 989 Child Predator Exposures, an online group that exposes child predators.

Reports indicate the group only alerted police to the meeting after Fountain said he was bringing his kid. The plan was just to have a member of the group meet Fountain at Taco Bell until then. That seems risky to me. Why wouldn't police have been contacted from the get go?  Nonetheless, Justin Fountain is off the streets and is facing 30 charges.
