MERS Makes First U.S. Showing

MERS is here. The first U.S. case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) has been reported in Indiana, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The patient is a health-case provider in Indiana who traveled to Saudi Arabia and returned to the United States, reports the CDC. The patient was admitted to Community Hospital in Munster, Ind.
